Govt to disinvest 8.38% in NMDC this fiscal

As part of its disinvestment programme, the government is proposing to offload 8.38 per cent of its stake in NMDC through a follow-on public offer (FPO). As of September quarter, the government held about 98.38 per cent in NMDC, and the rest were with the public. Shares of NMDC rose 4.55 per cent over previous close to a high of Rs 433 in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
