It had sold about 36,00,000 units in 2008, the company said in a statement. "The calendar year 2009 has indeed been our best-ever performance. We have been consistently raising the bar and setting new records," Hero Honda Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said. Last year was the first-ever calendar year when the company"s monthly sales crossed the 3-lakh mark in each of the 12 months, the statement added.
